Astrological Calendar
At Chronicle Books, the creative director asked the design fellows to create a calendar concept. I designed and created this astrological perpetual calendar that can be used for any year. I presented the prototype to the creative director, industrial designer, and editors.

Time and space
I wanted to create a calendar that reflected the theme of time and space while also being more interactive. I did some online research on existing calendars that were astrological or related to astronomy.

The separate parts were created using a cutting plotter, then put together using a mechanical screw. I designed and produced this prototype from concept to execution, and the industrial designer taught me how to implement the design with a plotting cutter.
